People Mean Business
Another major conference was successfully completed for a Development Training Company.

The theme for this year's event was 'People Mean Business' and Jonas Ridderstrale from the Stockholm Business School joined our client to speak with Dr. Yury Boshyk from the Global Executive Learning Group, Heather Rabbatts from iMPOWER and Nigel Freer, CEO of Merrdown plc. The event was rounded off with an excellent motivational presentation from Conrad Humphreys, the young BT Global Challenge skipper.

The previous year's event had taken the theme of 'Inspirational Leadership' and Famous Faces also provided the mainline speakers for this event. Manfred Kets de Vries, Professor of HR Management at INSEAD came over from Paris to speak on leadership development, joining Professor Michael West from Aston Business School, Simon Woodroffe, CEO at Yo! Sushi and Meredith Belbin, the author of 'Management Teams'.
