Cracker formula - As part of the Christmas festivities, Woolworths approached Famous Faces in search of a mathematical boffin to formulate the winning pull!! Dr Matthew Bennett, a senior process engineer, produced a formula that would increase the likelihood of victory when pulling a cracker. The formula was very successful and appeared in both the Daily Mail and The Sun. It was much debated nationally and Ian Hislop and Paul Merton even discussed it's merits on Have I Got News For You?!
