Scott Minto

Former Premiership Footballer

Scott Minto was born in 1971 and started his football career at Charlton Athletic at the age of 17.  Scott made over 200 appearances for Charlton Athletic before moving to Chelsea in the summer of '94.  He made his debut in the European Cup Winners Cup and was an important member of the Chelsea side for many years, winning the FA Cup in 1997.  However, shortly after picking up his winner's medal he linked up with Graeme Souness at Portuguese Champions Benifica where he remained for 18 months.  Scott eventually returned to the Premiership in January 1999 with West Ham United for a fee of £1m and helped the team to 5th - their highest ever league finish.

He retired from the game in May 2006 after 2 years with Rotherham United FC.  Since he hung up his boots, Scott has been commentating on various football matches for LBC and had a mobile phone show for O2 over the World Cup.

He now regularly reports from live games for Sky Sports and also makes appearances in the studio for Soccer Saturday.  Scott also appears as a co-presenter on talkSPORTs Evening Kick-Off show.

Due to his good looks and bright smile, Scott has also done a variety of modelling jobs over the years.
